

He was born Sunday, September 14, 1947 in Middletown,NY. A son of the late Carl Watters and Elsie Ballard Watters.
Rev. Watters was a member and Associate Pastor of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. He was a Veteran having served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. After his schooling he became Head Pastor of the Green Lane Assembly of God in Green Lane, PA. He then became the Head Pastor of the Mill City Assembly of God in Mill City, PA. Following this pastorate he became the Head Pastor of the Emmanuel Assembly of God in Allentown,PA. He then moved to Mt. Morris,PA and was the Associate Pastor of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God where he later became the Head Pastor and presently was the Associate Pastor. He loved being a Pastor touching lives and meeting people. He lived for preaching God's word and seeing people get saved by God's grace. What he loved the most was his daughter Andrea, her family and his 2 granddaughters Abby and Megan.
His Wife: Linda M. Walters Watters, whom he married on October 28,1967 died September 28, 2014
Surviving are 1 Daughter: Andrea (Carl) Redding, of Mount Morris, PA. 2 Granddaughters: Abigail and Megan., 3 Sisters:
Pearl (Dan) Ward, of Macungie, PA., Joan Watters, of Allentown, PA., and Ruth(Joe) DeRoberts, of Lewes, DE., and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the time of the service on Tuesday, June 07, 2016 in the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God 103 School Road Mt.Morris, PA. with Rev. Dr. Stephen Tourville, Rev. John Jackson, and Rev. Mark Caston officiating. Burial will be private. Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 are in charge of arrangements. Military Honors will be accorded by representatives of the United States Navy at the church. The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God Mission fund 103 School Road Mt.
