Winifred K. "Fredie" Riggen, 77, of Waynesburg, PA passed away at 5:30 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at home. She was born December 31, 1948 in Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Charles Fowler and Heloise Cooper Fowler. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. Fredie enjoyed reading. She worked as an attendance secretary at the Greene County Career and Technology Center in Waynesburg for 55 years, retiring in 2020. Her Husband: Richard J. Riggen, whom she married on January 4, 1969 died July 1, 2009. Surviving are 1 Son: James A. (Tracy) Riggen of Waynesburg, PA, 2 Granddaughters: Abbigail Mae Riggen of Waynesburg, PA and Destinie Orndoff of Nitro, WV and 1 Sister: Jacquline Lucik of Clevland, OH. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers-Managing Director where her service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twp., Greene Co., PA 15370
