Waynesville-Donna Sue Rathbone, 70, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2017, at The Brian Center. Donna Sue was born in Haywood County to the late Oliver and Lelia Smith Rathbone. In addition to her parents, Donna Sue was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy; and five brothers, Thomas Boone, Hank, Joe, Frank, and Bob. Donna Sue is survived by her sisters, Ruth, Jane, Mary, Jean and Jackie; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, at Maggie Valley United Methodist. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
