Eva Jo Mehaffey Blackburn Maggie Valley – Eva Jo Mehaffey Blackburn, 80, passed away January 23, 2015. She was born in Haywood County on April 2, 1934 to the late Conley and Ada Owens Mehaffey. She was a RN for many years. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert Blackburn; brother, Paul (Christine) Mehaffey; nephew, Jack (Alana) Mehaffey; niece, Lisa (Tracy) Nelson and several cousins.
