Waynesville-Geraldine Gibson Smith, 74, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Geraldine was born in Haywood County, on August 27, 1941, to the late Lewis and Ethel Parris Gibson. She enjoyed cooking, coloring, and crocheting. Most of all, Geraldine loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Gibson. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ray Smith; a son, Danny Plott; a daughter, Chastity Plott; grandchildren, Brandy, Jeremy, Jared, and Jessa; and two great-grandchildren.
