Henry Clay Jenkins

Waynesville-Henry Clay Jenkins, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2021 at Haywood Regional Hospital. Born on July, 12th, 1939, to the late Marion and Ruth Brown Jenkins. Henry was a native of Haywood County and lived there all of his life. He enjoyed traveling out west, fishing, hunting, raising cattle, riding horses, and spending quality time with family.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence Jenkins; Ralph Jenkins; Jerry Jenkins; Sister Mary Lee Wells.

Left to cherish his memory is beloved wife of 35 years Barbara Jenkins; Daughter Ronda Jenkins Reynolds; Step-Daughter Jennifer Caywood (Marty); Grandsons Evan and Trent Caywood; Sister in law Connie Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Henry will be missed greatly by all of his many friends, and his family. Henry was one-of-a-kind!

Per Henry’s request no services will be held at this time, a memorial celebration to be held at a later date.
