James “Little Sonny” Haney, Jr. “1957 – 2015” James “Little Sonny” Haney, Jr., 58, of Waynesville, passed away at his residence. He was born in Germany to James “Big Sonny” Haney, Sr. and Betty McDaniel Haney. He is survived by his aunts, Edith Dockery and Joan Greenman; uncle, Robert Haney, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Garrett Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Buff and Erma Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be Charles Mintz, Willard Dockery, Steve Haney, Jesse Haney, and Jeremy Haney.
