James "Bobby" Robert Hill, age 71, passed away on December 7, 2025. Bobby was born in Haywood County, NC on December 6, 1954, to the late Claude "Pete" William Hill, Jr. and the late Margaret Garner Hill. Bobby enjoyed watching NASCAR and football with his longtime friend, Alex McKay. He loved playing his guitar and listening to music. Most of all, Bobby loved spending time with his grandson, Carsyn.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by siblings, Larry, Joey and Becki; great-niece, Courtney Bivins; and longtime companion, Barbara Boone.
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Beth Hill; grandson, Carsyn Mathis; nieces, Brooke Yarski (T.C.) and Angie Yarski; nephew, James Kirk (Rachel); several special great-nieces and great-nephews; and sister-in-law, Becky Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
