WAYNESVILLE — John Henry Cullins, 64, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at The Homestead. John Henry was born in Haywood County on Feb. 4, 1951, to the late Rayford and Myrtle Lenoir Cullins. John Henry was a talented musician a loving family member, and a friend to all he met. John Henry is survived by his sisters, Janie Carson and Deborah Cullins; brother, Eugene Cullins; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service celebrating John Henry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Jones Temple A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. William E. Staley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
