Kenneth Lee Roy Palmer, age 86, of Lake Junaluska, NC passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Kenneth was born July 16, 1935 in the Little Cataloochee Valley of Haywood County to the late Kimsey Palmer and Beatrice Burgess Sisk.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Smith and Katie Coin.
Kenneth was an avid Nascar fan. He was a lifelong machinist and retired from Car Quest in 2002. He was fond of fly fishing in the local streams in Western North Carolina. You could often find him hiking by a stream or tinkering on a hotrod.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Pam (Rob) Lease; son, Kenny (Susan) Palmer; and grandchildren, Paul Royalty, Alex Royalty, Langley (Marcus) Lease and Ben Lease.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Inurnment will be held at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park.
