Kermit Charles Turner

In addition to his parents, Kermit was preceded in death by wife, Beth Brookshire Turner; siblings, Richard "Bear" Turner, Wanda Turner Frady; and nephews, Steve Frady and Michael Turner.

Kermit is survived by his son, Anthony Turner (Laura); grandchildren, Sydney and Trent Turner; stepsons, James Messer (Stephanie) and Jeff Messer (Cindy); sister, Brenda Turner Eavenson (Ron); nieces, April Herbert (Shane), Sherri Matkovich (Jay); nephew, Randy Turner (Pamela); and brother-in-law, Sam Frady.

Kermit was a licensed barber prior to a forty year career at Evergreen Packaging. Kermit enjoyed music, especially doo wop, playing his guitar, and all sports.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army (Local Chapter).
