Larry Keyes Herkel, age 86, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Larry was born in Little Falls, NY on April 21, 1938 to Henry and Nathaleen Herkel. He lived in Melbourne Florida where he was a glacier, and retired to Waynesville, NC after traveling many years in their motorhome through the United States.
He is survived by his wife (Sally Herkel), Son (Scott Herkel), Daughters (Lori Bales and Lisa Frodge), grandchildren (Curtis, Kaley & Shelby), and 10 great-grandchildren (Brooke, Alaynna, Malachi, Brodie, Lia, Gavin, Alexander, Madison, Mason, and Ellie).
