I had the tremendous good luck of knowing Nancy for the past 18 years. I greatly admired her grace, wit, strength of will, honesty, and the beautiful art she made. Her fortitude has been and will continue to be an inspiration for me.

My sincere condolences to Bill and Ben Jr. Just found out about Nancy’s passing. I bought the Baker house or home that she grew up in and lived next door to Ben and Nancy when they moved to Cairo from Florida. We had many good times together working in the Church and going on those United Way trips, We stayed in touch over the years and she painted some awesome pictures for me, I will treasure those along with the sweet memories I have of my friend. Heaven’s gain and our loss.
