Ollie Jean McClure

Waynesville, NC - Ollie Jean McClure, age 89, went to her Heavenly home on December 19, 2019. She was born on August 31, 1930 to the late Edward W. and Julia Hooper McClure.

Ollie was a well loved, lifelong member of Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jane McClure Woody; sister, Iris McClure Blanton; brothers, Edward W. McClure and Lawrence W. McClure.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Louise McClure Corbin and Ann McClure Plott (James R.); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Garrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Saunook Plott Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church, 2262 Old Balsam Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786.
