I just found out yesterday of Bobby's passing. I am so shocked and saddened. He was a big part of my life for the past 15 years. Always a story to tell, always giving me advise, wanted or not ;). And always made me laugh!!!  Sending prayers to his sister and her family. RIP Bobby

Bobby certainly was one of the good guys and a friend. We played football together and I could count on him always having a positive outlook no matter what he was doing. See ya soon friend.....

Going to miss his smile and just being a good friend and one of the good guys. Every since I met Bobby, I can't remember a time he wouldn't do anything for you and was always there to help. As a teammate, FCA member, good friend, and pal you will be deeply missed. See you up there, save me a spot.

After graduation whenever you saw Bobby...at the beach .....at the store...at a game.... he would always greet you with a Big Smile and an even BIGGER HUG. His annual Christmas Open House was on our never to be missed list.

He was one of Coach Harrell's favorite players.

We all lost a very special friend, one you call a friend for life. One that was always there to make you smile, to remind you of the "Good Times" we all had back in the day. Bobby was the friend that made the Beach a special place to be and grow up. Our loss is Heavens gain, until we meet again my friend.

What can I say about my first love. There's never been anyone like you. You'll always be in my heart, sweet and gentle man. I look forward to seeing you again someday.Sharon, you and I lost touch a long time ago, but I will always remember your kindness. Love and prayers.

When Bobby and I met we were both just out of diapers.  That was 56 years ago. The last time I saw him he was sitting in my living room laughing and talking like only Bobby could. Somehow I never thought of him not being with us.  He had that kind of "full of life" personality.  I will miss him so much. Condolences to his family,  especially Cody.

Bobby worked with my brother and was my mom Virginia Edwards's neighbor for years. They developed a friendship despite the age difference and he would check in with her periodically. We are all in shock over his sudden passing. Thoughts and prayers to Sharon, Kenny, Cody and all of his friends.

We are still shocked by the loss of Bobby.  Too young to go so soon!  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sharon, Kenny and Cody. Love all of you.

Oh Bobby.  Where to begin. It has been a few years since I saw you last but our conversation never skipped a beat. I hate we didn't stay in touch more. RIP Sharon, you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

This news is especially difficult for me and all of his lifelong friends to hear! I have known Bobby for over 50 years as he was as unique as a person could be! I know that everyone is saddened to hear of this and I'm sure that everyone who knew him will NEVER forget him! He helped me thru some trying times in my youth as I know he meant so much to so many people, family and friends may God rest his soul!

RIP Bobby. I will always have fond memories of you. It is true that the Lord always takes the good souls too soon. Till we see you again.

I am crushed. I honestly did not believe this when I heard. You were always a ray of sunshine to us all. Heaven is a brighter place with you there. Sharon, smile with every memory and know he and  Mom are smiling down upon you, Kenny and Cody. Love to you all!

To a very sweet man that has been in my life for the past 22 years. I  will certainly miss you. Thank you for being my friend when I was going through hard times. And remembering the times you came to me. I know you are in heaven looking down on those of us left here on earth. I cant wait to see your smiling face again. Take care of momma until we get there. Sharon please know that I will always love you and your family. They are preparing a good place for us.

Bobby was such a special person.  He will certainly be missed by so many.  He always had smile...ready to go over past times!  He called and checked on me when my Dad died...it meant so much to me.  I met him on my first days at San Pablo...he was my partner when we learned the Hokey-Pokey.  All the way through school, I never knew or saw him be anything but friendly to all.  I'm so heartbroken for all who cared about him...praying that God will comfort all affected by his passing.  To his sister Sharon, I hope that there is some way that you will be able to read how his classmates remembered him and felt about him.

Bobby such a kind sweet soul always there for you, remembering all the times we had thru the years. We will meet again will miss you dearly till that day. praying for family and friends.

Sweet Bobby -- you will be missed more than you could ever have imagined. It saddens me to think of never seeing your beautiful smile or hearing your infectious laugh. Like the song says "Your candle burned out long before, your legend ever did." My heart aches.

Well where do I start, first of all Bobby I will miss you more than you know. It started 26 yrs ago when you asked me in Rag Time if you could drink a beer out of my shoe, I was like where did you come from. Lol. We were together from then on for 10 yrs, ups and downs you were always my "nubie", I can see you laughing right now.  You were my best friend when we went our different ways, I could always count on you. Bobby you promised mom you would take care of me now I'm asking you to take care of her. I will always love and miss you nubie  Sharon my  for you.

You will always be remember for your smile, your humor, and friendship, Bobby. We will all miss you. Know that you were loved and will always be remembered with love!

I've known Bobby since high school and then worked with him at the phone company for many years afterward. Always quick with a joke, we had lots of laughs over the years! I'll miss you BJ...RIP!

Bobby was the first guy I rode motorcycles with, and, boy, we did tear up the beaches on a couple Hondas. Bobby was always a gentleman, always a friend, and maybe just a little bit of a joker. The world is a little darker without his light. You left your mark on the hearts of many, my friend. I will miss you. My prayers for Sharon.

You sure made me smile!  I'm sad I can't see you anymore, but I bet Donna is jumping with joy!  God speed.

I had the privilege of being Bobby's pastor for the last year! Nowhere would you find a kinder more noble man and he loved his church.
