

LUEDERS, Charles, 60, Tues. May 15, 2011. Beloved son of the late Theodore P and Betty Lueders. Dear brother of Marilyn (Ken) Judson, Don (Donna) and Ted Lueders. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Chuck's love of country spanned his military and civilian career. Chuck was a highly decorated retired officer, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, in the Air Force and Air Force Reserve. His assignments and contributions included serving on the U. S. Joint Chief of Staff, within the area of Intelligence. Working in the defense industry Chuck contributed to the Harpoon Missile program, SR-71, and the early stages of unmanned Drone program. He devoted his life in the defense of his country. Chuck was indeed a true patriot, who had the respect of his superiors, peers, and subordinates. He is loved and will be missed by his family, friends, and professionals alike.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave. Webster Groves (968-2000). Funeral service will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves. Interment to follow at St. Paul Churchyard.
