Mrs. Joyce Weber Clayton

CLAYTON, Joyce Simpson (nee Weber), 88 died on Monday August 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Edward H. “Ted” Clayton and Dr. Guy Simpson; loving mother of Gail Palubiak and Greg (Mary-Michael) Simpson; step-mother of Mia (J.R.) Walters, Jane (John Petro) Clayton, Ned Clayton, Elizabeth Clayton; loving grandmother of Kelly, Christi, Steven, Liz, Jen, Alison, Alex, Aaron, Robert and John.

Joyce was a member for almost forty years of Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, where she was the mission coordinator for many years. At 71, Joyce founded the non-profit Human Energies to assist people in building skills so that they would be more employable.

SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Friday, September 2, 2011, Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood Ave. Interment at Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 851 Country Stone Drive, Manchester, MO 63021.
