She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed growing flowers and yard work.
She is survived by her husband, Randol Savant of Hecker, LA; son, John R. Savant of Lake Charles; daughters, Rhonda Suire of Hayes and Vicki Jeanis of Lake Charles; brother Don Duerson of Iowa Park, TX; sisters, Juanita Byam of Welsh, Ruth Webster of Tampa, FL and Louise Gardner of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Amberlyn Fontenot, Colby Suire, Matthew Suire of Hayes, Brice Savant, Kaitlin Jeanis of Lake Charles; Great grandchildren, Keaton Fontenot of Hayes and Molly Savant of Indiana.
Her funeral will be 10am, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday, 4pm-9pm at the funeral home with scripture service at 6pm and Tuesday 8am until service time.
