Lottie Touchet

Lottie was a wonderful homemaker who loved taking care of her family, working in her yard, knitting, sewing, cooking, and baking sweets. Her favorite time was when she was gathered with her family especially holidays with her sisters who were known for playing jokes on one another.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Touchet, Jr., her daughter, Michelle Van Fleet, her parents, a brother, Preston Lawrence, and sisters, Betty Mullins, Natalie Johnson, Barbara Jeanise, and Jacquelien Van Ness.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Mark Touchet (Allyson), Jacqueline Mayeaux (Stacey), and Jered Touchet (Carley); grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Amanda), William Van Fleet, Sydney Mayeaux, Connor Mayeaux, Emerson Touchet, and Bellamy Touchet; and 3 great-grandchildren, Braden, Cameron, and Hunter Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church with Rev. Susil Fernando officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
