Paul "Tee" Guidry Sr., age 88, of Bell City, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Paul was born October 9, 1932.

He very proudly served his country in the United States Army. Paul worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and his local VFW. Paul was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a jack of all trades and a master of most of them. Paul enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, and sharing his crops with his family. He was a true blessing to his family and is already deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Elizabeth Porter and husband Martin Porter; sons, Paul R. Guidry Jr., Carl J. Guidry and wife Ramona Guidry, and Peter L. Guidry; grandchildren, Stephanie Trahan, Angel Guidry, Silikia Guidry, Kayla Guidry, Marybeth Guidry, and Hunter Porter; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Guidry, Rodney Guidry; and his sister-in-law, Joyce Guidry.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Mae Roy Guidry; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; and his parents.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend this visitation from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Welsh, on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lorraine Cemetery.
