Rose Belle Granger

Arrangements under the direction of Hixson Rose Belle Granger, 94, A native of Lacassine and resident of Hayes was entrusted to God’s loving care on Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Rose was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She was a Parishioner of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bell City.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ernest Granger & wife Rene; daughters, Gladys Moreau and Adeline Navarre & husband Charles; a sister, Aneed Gaspard; sister-in-law, Joyce Arceneaux. Rose is also survived by 6 precious grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The Rosary Recital will be at 6:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. procession time. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bell City at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Tanu will be the Celebrant. The Committal will follow at Derouen/Lorraine Cemetery in Hayes.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Euell Granger; son, Curtis Paul Granger; parents, Philias Arceneaux and Marie Prejean Arceneaux; son-in-law, Rodney Moreau. She was also preceded by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
