Chavis is survived by mother Ana Gomez; step-father Paul Gomez; step-father Robert Barcenas and father Reyes Adrian Ortiz; sister Joanna Barcenas, sister Ashley Gomez, sister Melody Ortiz, brother Angel Barcenas and brother Tristan Ortiz; maternal grandmother Rosie Rivera, maternal grandfather Eladio Rivera, maternal grandfather Jose Guadalupe Treviño Jr., maternal grandmother Esmer Garcia, paternal grandmother Gloria Ortiz, paternal grandfather Reyes Ortiz.

Chavis is preceded in death by Great-grandfather Jose Guadalupe Treviño Sr. ; Great-grandmother Lucinda Treviño and Great-Grandmother Manuela Conde.

Visitation Services for Chavis will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM for Immediate family only at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home located at 6705 N FM 88 in Weslaco, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
