Dora Mejia, age 81, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Dora was born May 12, 1940 to Eliboria Villarreal and Guadalupe Limon.

Dora is survived by her daughter Herlinda Cantu (Jose†); her grandchildren Austin Joe Cantu, Sarah Hernandez (David), Christina Mejia, Christopher (Mariah), Celestino Mejia III (Mayra), Cassidy Gonzalez (Adam) and Monica Tafolla and her great grandchildren Vida, Ricky Gutierrez, Bella Yarrito, Victoria Jasper, Isla, Castalia Mejia and Christian Hernandez.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe Limon and her mother Eliboria Villarreal, her son Celestino Mejia Jr. and her son in law Jose Cantu.

A visitation for Dora will be held Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. A chapel service will occur Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78596.

Serving as pallbearers are Celestino Mejia III, Christopher Jasper, Austin Joe Cantu, David Hernandez, Adam Gonzalez and Ricky Gutierrez.
