Florentino Alvarado Jr., age 33, of Weslaco, Texas, entered eternal rest and went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2026, at his residence in Weslaco. He was born on October 16, 1992, in Weslaco, Texas, to Florentino Alvarado and Maria Felicitas Alvarado.
Florentino was a devoted father whose greatest joy in life was his children. He loved spending time with them, playing, laughing, and teaching them new things every chance he could. Whether it was playing basketball with his boys, enjoying virtual reality games, or simply sharing moments together, he treasured every second with them.
Known for his creativity and kind heart, Florentino had a way of bringing joy to those around him. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—eating pizza and wings, drinking Dr. Pepper, and listening to country music. He worked alongside his father at the tire shop, where he dedicated his time and effort with pride and a strong work ethic.
Florentino will be remembered for his loving spirit, his devotion to his family, and the way he always made time for the people he loved most. His memory will live on through the lessons he shared, the laughter he created, and the deep love he gave to his children and family.
He is survived by his loving parents, Florentino and Maria Felicitas Alvarado; his beloved children, Jose Florentino Alvarado, Roxanne Alvarado, Evangelina Avery Alvarado, and Florentino Alvarado III; his sisters, Dulce Alvarado and Cristal (Gregorio) Granados; his cherished niece, Emily Granados; and his nephews, Jonathan Granados and Gregorio Granados III.
Florentino’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, family, and moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
