She was gifted with her hands and enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, sewing, arts and crafts, and many other creative pursuits. In her younger years, she delighted in simple pleasures such as playing jacks and jumping rope.
Known affectionately as the Mena family historian, Herlinda loved reminiscing about the past and sharing family stories, historical memories, and significant events. Through her storytelling, she helped preserve the family's heritage and strengthened the bonds between generations.
Above all, Herlinda was a caring, giving, and compassionate person.
