He is survived by his children: Nacho Rubio Jr., Janie Rubio, Norma Majallan, Petra Rubio, Ruben Rubio, Rosa Maria Campos, and Ilda R. Castillo; his 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory. He is also survived by his siblings, Silverio Rubio and Teresa Rodriguez.
Ignacio was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Salud Rubio, and his parents, Esteban and Petra Rubio.
Visitation will be held on March 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held on March 29, 2026, at 10:00 am with a burial to follow. All services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland and Memorial Park, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596,
His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, who will continue to honor him through their love and togetherness. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
