Jose Barrera

Jose Barrera, was born November 26, 1964, has gone to his eternal rest with the Lord. Jose will be remembered by those who knew him as a kind and loving person. He enjoyed the beautiful moments he was blessed with and had an abundance of love and support from his family especially his parents, his siblings his wife, and his children and grandchildren.

Jose is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maria and Jose Barrera; his maternal grandparents, Benito and Adriana Yanez; and his brother-in-law, Rene Riojas Jr.

He is survived by his parents, Alfredo and Elvira Barrera along with his wife, Fausta Barrera, and his three grandchildren, Amanda, Liliana, and Jose Alfredo. He is also survived by five grandchildren- Alisha. Eliel , Elian, Maribel, and Jeremiah - as well as five siblings- David (Frances) Barrera, Noe (Elsa) Barrera, Ana Maria (Ricardo) Montoya, Enedelia Barrera- Riojas, and Alfredo (Sara) Barrera. Joe, you will be greatly missed. One day we will all be together again in Heaven.

A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM, followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
