Jose worked as a foreman for 52 years. He would always say that he immigrated to United States since they were celebrating his birthday on the Fourth of July.
Jose is survived by his wife of 69 years, Maria Angelica San Roman; son Francisco San Roman (Blanca); son Jose San Roman Jr. (Estrella); son Armando San Roman (Celia); son Mario San Roman (Jeanette); and daughter Sylvia San Roman Valle (Jesse); grandchildren Brenda, Joe III, Conchita, Jessie Sr, Frankie, Juan Jose, Jonathan, Amanda, Manny, Ashley, Aisha, April, Arman, Jasmine, Mario Jr., Melanie, Noah, Ramscs, Jennabella; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Jose was preceded in death by his mother Tranquilina Ortiz and his sister Consuelo San Roman.
Visitation Services for Jose will be held Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home located at 6705 N FM 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Committal Services to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
