Librada Torres

Librada Torres, age 92, of Donna, Texas went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Librada was born on August 17, 1930 to Macario Balleza and Seferina Avalos in Cuidad de Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Librada is survived by her children Luis Torres (Martha†), Teodoro Torres (Francisca†), Alberto Torres (Senovia), Anastacia Gutierrez (Javier), Maria Del Jesus Lopez (Raul), Petra Torres, Agustin Pedro Torres (Janie), Maria Teresa Torres and Beatrice Torres. Also to cherish her memory are 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Librada is now reunited with her loving husband, Agustin Torres and her son Jesus Torres.

Librada enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved everyone being together. She also enjoyed attending Abrazos Day Care, she loved playing loteria and loved attending to her plants. She will be greatly missed, and will forever live on our hearts.

A visitation for Librada will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel - Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Donna, Texas, followed by the burial at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, Texas.
