Left to cherish Maria's memory are her children Jesse N. Guerra, Cynthia R. (Patsy Cantu) Guerra, Antonio Guerra and Idalia P. Guerra.
Maria is now now reunited with her parents, and her siblings Delia Casas, Hipolito Valenzuela, and Elodia Perez.
Our mother loved dancing and spending time with family. She was very family oriented. She was a CNA for 45 years at Knapp Medical Center. She was very humble and loving, loved helping people in every way she could. During her off time from work, she loved to go dancing. She will be greatly missed, and will forever live in our hearts.
A visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A funeral mass will occur Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Donna, TX 78537, followed by the interment at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599.
