Maria Paula Resendiz, age 72, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Wednesday February 13, 2019. Maria was born January 25, 1947.

Maria is survived by; daughter Aurelia Torres; daughter Maria del Carmen Mendoza; son Cayetano Torres; daughter Maria Torres; daughter Ignacio Torres; son Gilberto Torres; and daughter Maria Guadalupe Avila.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Cayetano Torres; son Jose Luis Torres.

Visitation Services for Maria will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM followed with the Interment at Highland Memoral Park, Weslaco, TX.
