Elaine H. Hammerling

Elaine Hammerling (nee Taddey), Entered into Eternal Life on November 12, 2012 at the age of 89 years. The loving wife of Rev. Henry Hammerling for almost 69 years. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Lydia Taddey, brother Herbert, sister June and brother Ralph. She was also preceded in death by her son Henry. Elaine is survived by her husband Henry, daughter Patricia, sisters-in-law Nancy Galow and Joan Hammerling, brother-in-law Walter (Diane), nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. The family wishes to thank the nurses of Gentiva Hospice for their expert, gentle and thoughtful care during Elaine's illness.

Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 am at First Lutheran Church, 7400 W. Lapham St., West Allis. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday at the Church from 10 am until time of service. Gifts to the First Lutheran Memorial Fund would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
