Alex was truly one-of-a-kind—full of life, laughter, and love. His signature greeting, “Yo yo yooo!” and his cheesy smile with two thumbs up were unforgettable trademarks. He was playful, joyful, and always ready with a funny sound effect, a quirky one-liner, or a joke that would have the whole room laughing.
He had an incredible ability to know a little bit about everything—a curious mind filled with random facts, always ready for conversation. Whether he was on the phone or hanging out at home, he made people feel heard, seen, and appreciated.
He loved staying in, binge-watching shows, and making the most out of movie nights with his girls. And of course, his singing—sometimes silly, sometimes surprisingly good—was a part of everyday life. Mornings in the Patterson household were never dull thanks to his spontaneous tradition of waking up with a new "Song of the Day."
You always knew when Alex was home—the loud car and thumping bass marked his arrival long before he walked through the door. He loved being out on the road, whether on his bike or in the car, especially when sharing those moments with loved ones.
From his wife, Sindy, some of her most treasured memories of Alex are filled with joy and laughter. She fondly recalls the day they first met and the beautiful day they got married, both milestones marked by love and happiness. Sindy smiles when remembering the time they slid down the stairs in a cardboard box, laughing like carefree kids, a perfect example of Alex’s playful and goofy spirit that brought light to every moment. But above all, it was the simple, everyday days spent together as a family—sharing love, laughter, and those spontaneous moments—that Sindy cherishes most deeply. Being around Alex meant being surrounded by warmth, humor, and a boundless joy that touched everyone lucky enough to know him.
Alex brought light, laughter, and deep love into this world, and he will be missed beyond words.
He is survived by his loving wife Sindy Patterson; his two cherished daughters, Isabella Amore Patterson Moreno and Liana Alexis Patterson-Rangel; and his devoted parents, Erin McCally and Larry Patterson. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family who were touched by his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
