I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew Angel in high school and he was always the nicest guy. He would always make time for conversation. His passion for art and skateboarding was so inspiring too. He was a great guy to be around when we were at Loyola.

Kindness is what I remember, I was taking the public bus back from Loyola for a couple of weeks, it felt like everyone at school was getting cars or an easy ride back, I had to take the bus home because a car wasn't something I could afford. There was a day when practice was canceled and I had to take an earlier bus than normal, Angel just so happened to be on that bus, we knew each other but weren't close, still we smiled and nodded as we noticed each other. After a while we both noticed we were heading in the same direction. It felt crazy finding out we grew up just a couple miles apart and ended up at this fancy school on the west side, knowing that gave me comfort, I hope it gave him the same.
