

Bobby Glen Simmons, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at West Covina, California. He was born March 29, 1951, in Hico, Texas to Earl David and Juanita Rosa (Stephenson) Simmons. He was a 1969 graduate of Simi Valley High School and a graduate of USC School of Architecture. He married Norma Untalan on August 2, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked at Security Pacific National Bank and Bank of America for 25 years as part of the management team. Bob truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and spending time with his children, nephews and nieces. Bobby loved music and had an uncanny ability to recall many dates, times and places of recording artists of Rock and Roll. He is survived by his wife, Norma; His children Jaime, Nelson, Gerald, Sheryl and Bethafe, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sister, Sandra Linell (Simmons) Maas of Simi Valley, CA and Brother Randy Ray Simmons of New Albany, Indiana. Bobby Is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law. Two visitations for family and friends will be held on April 27 and 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, 2333 West Merced Avenue in West Covina, CA. Funeral Mass Services will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 344 West Workman Street, Covina, CA. Immediately following the funeral mass, graveside services and internment will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. Reception to follow after services in Bobby’s honor to reminisce about his life.
