

Concepcion Cedeno (Concha), age 80, passed away peacefully in her home in Baldwin Park, CA on March 25th, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel F. Cedeno of 61 years, forever loved and cherished by her 6 children Carlos, Daniel Jr., Catalina, Carmen, Veronica, and Francisco.
Her 20 grandchildren Daniel Jr 3rd, Jeanette, Joseph, Nicolas, Nathan, Angelina, Ethan, Micheal, Ashlie, Riley, Emily, Addrianna, Philp, Abraham, Stephanie, Samantha, Matthew, Sarah (Luca), Chloe, and Charlie and 16 great grandchildren.
Her siblings Raul, Ave, Raquel, Yola, Chavo, Avelino, Elva, Chema, Alonso, Patty, Chayo, and Carlos.
Concepcion was born on Mayl 21st, 1943 in Santa Cruz De Las Flores, Jalisco to Abelino and Josefina Diaz, she was one of 17 children. She grew up on her parents’ ranch in Cuidad Insurgentes Baja, CA. Where she helped raise her siblings. At age 19, she met and married Daniel Cedeno. They immigrated to California and briefly stayed in Los Angeles until 1966 when they bought their family home in Baldwin Park. Together they raised 6 children and shared their lives and memories with all of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was an active member of St. John the Baptist (Baldwin Park, CA) in Llama de Amor, Our Lady of Guadalupe (Irwindale, CA) in Adoración Nocturna, St. Louis of France, (La Puente, CA), and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (El Monte, CA), Fr. Kolbe Missionaries and Volunteers (West Covina, CA). Where she devoted her time to prayer and helping her community. She made sure to instill faith and a love of God in each of her children.
She was an active and loving Lita, Grandma, Great Grandma, and Little Mimi. Her family remembers her fondly, as the official taxi for all her grandchildren. She was always ready to spoil her loved ones by cooking our favorite meals. She taught her kids to take care of themselves and she always had time to make sure that everyone felt loved in our family.
She worked as a seamstress for decades, which allowed her to clothe all her loved ones with her designs. She spent countless hours nurturing her plants in her garden. She passed on her gifts to many of her grandchildren from sewing, cooking, and her love of gardening. They live on in each and every one of us.
She was preceded in death by her parents Abelino Diaz Buenrosto and Josefina Lopez Ramirez, her siblings Coyo (Socorro), Lino (Malio Fabio), Tencho (Hortencia), and Manuel.
