Cousin…..you were one of my best friends…. I can’t believe you are gone 😢.  Our summers in El Paso……and in El Monte…..will be the memories I will always treasure.  I will always think of you and smile.  Love you forever ❤️

This picture was taken when my nephew was about five..he is now going to be twenty. You would come over to my sister’ house for the day to do hair, talk and eat I’ve known you for half of my life. I can still hear you say “ right away” after you would finish my “bedroom” hair and “Madre”  as you called your niece.  Every time I would see an elephant I would think of you and buy it if I could for the next time I would see you…since I knew how much you loved them. Now every time We (Diane, Letty, the kids and me) see elephants it will be you saying “HELLO” .  We will miss you tremendously!  Until we meet again my friend…

Although, I did not have the luxury of seeing you often I cherish the memories I have of being in your presence during my summers growing up. I remember looking forward to you cutting my hair and sharing coffee with you as the evenings turned into night. It’s upsetting knowing my wife didn’t get the chance to met you in all of your greatness but you will always be remembered and celebrated in our home and hearts. We love you, Tio Danny.

Dearest Nino, 
There is no words that can explain how much me haces falta. You were not just my Nino but my best friend. You have been there for me since the day I was born. You, my Tia Amparo, Leti & fam, were also there through it all when I lost my Mom, even 14 yrs after she had been gone. I thank you so much Nino for never leaving me alone. There was not 1 week that went by that we didn’t talk or see one another, even if it was for 1 minute just to see what we were doing. I’m gonna miss you so so much all our laughs, breakfasts with your amazing coffee you would make, our conversation talking about, “don’t hate this doll”. Uncle Danny I can't Believe Your not here anymore. I always thought you would always be around to answer the door at Grandmas house. You are a very Strong and Loving Man and I know You are with our Heavenly Father. You stood strong to be the person you wanted to be and I always admired you for that.
