My Condolences Laura and family. I was informed today of Diego's passing…He and I worked together in San Gabriel.

Diego my friend and colleague,

You were always in on the shenanigans at work!  On Halloween you didn’t have a costume, so you put the offices Fabulous and Fifty red dress on and you wore it well!  Then at last years Year End Party you put a bow on your head and a floppy hat.  I enjoyed working and talking with you.  You loved talking about Johnnie and Lily and the adventures you had been on and the ones that you were planning.

I cried watching your tribute movie, but they soon turned to tears of joy.  They say ever picture tells a story and each picture can be described in one word…..Love!  You loved life, loved your family and your family loved you.

You are loved and will be missed

Diego was such a kind soul.  He always had a smile on to greet my students when he picked them up after school.  My students have special needs and he was so good with them.  They felt save and were comfortable with him.  The Keystone class at ALJH was so sad to hear the news.  We are sending hugs and prayers for the family.  

I  would like to send my prayers and condolences to Diego's family. I am so sorry and very sad to hear that Diego has passed. 
I am a teacher at ALSD/Deer Canyon Elementary. For many years, Diego has taken our classes up to 6th grade camp in December. He was always the lead driver and rightly so, as he knew how to maneuver those tricky roads.  I have always felt so safe with him driving us up  and down the winding and icy mountain path. I will cherish those memories, our conversations about the world as we know it,  and think fondly of him each year when going through those mountain passes and knowing that he is keeping watch over us for a safe journey.  May your family find peace and comfort during these difficult times.
