Amor  Sin Palabras." Mama the day you passed.,  I was taking Paul home. He said sister put the radio on, and when I did your song came out!  Supe Perder! Me and Paul said. When I reflect on the memories from my youth, I can’t help but remember on the times my mom would take my brother James and I to your house to visit or for family get togethers. What I remember about you the most as my brother and I ran around as kids through your house….was the way you made my mom and other tias laugh with your stories. We love and will miss you…but we know your more alive then ever, in Heaven with Our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Dear Mom:
It takes a real mother who loves their children to take the time out to visit their children, while on vacation. Mom and you make that effort every Sunday till the day I got home.  You always said "I  have 10 fingers and not one of  them our the same." And I was one of those fingers. And yes we were all different,  but you loved us, just the same. As I go through all these memories, pictures of you, I see that you were proud of your children.  You were at every event. You were always with us. Standing proud. .      My heart aches now that your gone. And I cried myself to sleep thinking of you.  I will forever cherish your memories. You were a good friend to your friends, always had the doors open for them.  I remember how your sisters would come over, and you would tell them your stories.  They would be laughing so hard, they would tell you "Aye.Dolores your too much!"  Mom you were a hard worker, very independent,  And worked hard to provide.for your children.  I know you are in the kingdom of heaven, just knowing that makes my pain feel better.  Mom continue watching over us, like you always did..

It’s been so hard to write these few words… First of all, thank you for always being there for me. You helped me raise Omar (even though you already raised your kids). You taught me to be responsible and work hard, excuses weren’t going to pay the bills. I know once I married, you didn’t worry about me anymore, you knew I had someone to help raise Omar the rest of the way. Lately I’ve been thinking about you, mostly when I’m driving.  I think of you when I drive by places. I remember being with you and I remember moments we shared. It’s been hard. You were there for me when I needed you. When you needed me to be there for you I was, it was hard but I did my best. Love you mom ♥️


My Favorite Memory I have of my Great Grandmother where many to say but one that stands out the most. One day we came to visit our family up to LA to grandmas home i believe in Garvey street she was so happy to see us she always was but this day she wanted to dance and I kept telling myself my grandma can dance after a while latter she gave me advice about life that I still follow to this day she said “ Mija as you get older remember to always follow your heart” and I could say to this day grandma I am following my Heart.

Dolores you where one of my funniest sister. I loved you dearly.  I will always remember when my sons and myself lived with you,!  You and I would go out together have a lot of fun. What I remember most is the nicknames you give everyone. My grandson Andres nickname from you is Woody!! When I called him to tell him you had gone to be with the Lord., he said I love my Tia Lola she was always so nice to me! He will remember you and he said you are at peace now! I  will miss all the laughs and talks we would have.  See you again someday in heaven.

You will always be grandma Jaso to me .. I will never forget you grandma and how you raised me to speak my mind and be confident. My memories of you and me would be kmart, the vans store, San Gabriel and going to visit my dad in the Bahamas .. I remember when my aunt sandra & aunt Carmen would go out dancing we would come home & you would wait up for us to see how it went & if we meet anybody and if they bought us king taco.  You were always there for me and my kids and you never judged me.  Love you grandma Jaso and I am glad I was able to take care of you and spend time with you before you left to be with the lord .. 🙏

Dolores so many memories in my heart .You truly will be missed.I smile when I think of the times I would pick you up from the senior center we would always have to check your pockets because they would be stuffed with  broken cookies and sugar packets to hide  in your drawer.. It was an honor to be your daughter in law 40yrs next month.. Never a dull moment being a part of your family. You had words of wisdom for me that I kept in my heart just between you and me. Your legacy will live on through your grandchildren ❤️

Thank you for everything, Grandma. You are the reason I am here with the rest of my family able to enjoy the free gift of life. I am truly grateful for your unconditional love, all your words of wisdom, and your delicious food. I will always remember our good times and laughs we shared together. It makes me sad to see you go but I am happy that you are at peace. I love you. 

Grandma ,
My first memories of you were when you lived in El Monte on the corner house. You always had a cage of parakeet birds outside your front door and they would sing so loud. I remember my aunt Carmen or Unlce eddie would put fresh water in your birds cage. I remember you had a nice room and your bed always looked so cozy and it was always made. Then when you moved to the apartment we would sit and visit with you in the living room. I remember you never liked any of your neighbors lol.  I remember uncle David always would do things to help you and he would always walk up and down the stairs saying “yes mother “ , “yeah mom”, “mother I know”..Lol. I remember the older you got you were never afraid to cry in front of us or say how much you missed your sons who had passed away. You always had pictures of everyone on your living room wall and you wouldn’t forget a picture of anyone in your family. You always said that god loves us and he forgives. I’m grateful grandma that you had your faith and love in god. You were a strong women, stubborn but also god fearing. I know your in heaven rejoicing grandma. I love you and I know I will see you again 💜. 

Momma, you made me the man that I am today, and you are my "HERO" because you loved me. You're such a loving, funny, strong, and beautiful woman. We are ALL blessed to have YOU - an abundance of fond warm memories that we thank GOD every day.  This is a Celebration of Life for you, Mommy - many loving, funny, and legacy stories will be shared soon as you stood at the golden- gates in Heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ accepted you into his open arms in Heaven. I Never Thought I could feel For Another person the way I felt when my mom passed,  I was Wrong  , these past days  Have been So Difficult ,   Thank you Dolores (My Mother In Law)  I Loved how you referred to me As Your Son , forever Greatful for Always having a Warm Home for us. Grandma,
  I was thinking of sharing this the day of your service, but not sure if I would be able to. So I thought I would share it here instead.  I have some special memories that, at the time, I didn't know how grateful I would be to have them with me today. My first memory, I was about 6 or 7. It was at the home in El Monte, you were getting ready to go out, you had your blouse on, your skirt, black nylons and black heels. I helped you fixed your belt and you said "atta baby, atta girl." My second memory is when I was somewhere about 10-12 and you took me out for the day. We went to go wash your car, you took to me Kmart and bought me clothes, you said "pick something out, but not alot cuz I'm not rich like your other grandma" lol you always compared yourself to her. Then we took flowers to my uncles. In my 20s, I got to spend sometime with you on Sundays when we would go visit my mom on her vacation. Although I hated going, it must of happened for a reason because now I have those Sunday mornings to cherish in my memories forever. You would tell me "aye Yvette" (because u never called me "Levette" haha) I don't know how you know your way around I would get lost, I don't know any of these streets". My last memory is a time we were waiting for my mom to get home from vacation, I spent the night at your apartment, and the next morning you were cooking chorizo for me. I didn't even know you still cooked lol, but I thought it was super sweet and generous of you to think of making me something. Thank you for all those memories. I'll keep them with me forever and I'll never forget your voice when I would call you "Hi Yvette, how r u mija?" I'll wait to hear that voice  when we meet again. Rest peacefully grandma, I love you.
