It’s been a year since you’ve been gone and it still doesn’t feel real. Like something hard to get through but on the other side is you coming back. I think about you all the time. Think about what was left unfinished. I think about the how if anybody should’ve gotten the chance to clean up and the support to get better it should have been you. You weren’t perfect but you were a good man and I carry that with me. I still wish I could ask you for advice on hard times, I still think about the days before it all turned upside down. I write songs about you I try to put myself in your shoes. And the more I think the more I relate to a flawed man making bad decisions just trying to find something that feels like home. Parallel. I understand you and I hope you know we still talk about you. We still laugh about you and most of all we still love you❤️

Gabz, Words cant begin express the love and gratitude we have for you. You took our son under your wing and you were ALWAYS there for him when we couldn't be.  He never felt alone or without family because you were there. You're more than my cousin, you're my brother.  There's so much I want to say to you. I guess it'll have to wait until we meet again. I know you're in heaven right now or prob'ly riding on a big Marshmallow cloud eating up the whole bag of Marshmallows.
