LIBERTY ANA VASQUEZ a beautiful and amazing mother, wife, grandmother, sister and overall exemplary human being. Mommy loved her God, her family, her dogs, watching her telenovelas and spending time with her daughter, Lee Ann. It did not matter what we did or where we went as long as we were together, mommy was happy.
Mommy was, is my best friend, confidant and companion. There is no one on this world like her. Her smile would light up the world and bring joy to all who came in contact with her. Her voice and infectious laughter stay with me and will continue to for all of my days.
Over the years my friends would also say how cool my mom is because she was. Mommy was fun. Adventurous at times and would fall on a sword for her loved ones if needed.
When Covid hit us, it affected mommy the hardest. She worked tirelessly to regain her strength and as much independence as she could. She was our fighter. Mommy worked tirelessly to regain her strength so that she could go back to standing with assistance so that she could pray over every family member and friend near and far. If she met you, rest assured you were included in her nightly prayers of protection and blessings.
Mommy leaves us empty and with an immense void that only she can fill. When God called her home, a piece of us went with her. Let us take comfort in knowing that Abuelita Angelita came for her and that God has accepted mommy into His Kingdom. Jesus Christ has welcomed mommy with open arms and a loving hug said to her "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!"
Mommy lived a life of struggle yet filled with happiness and more importantly love. A devotion and love for God, Jesus Christ and His word. Mommy held to His promises and was a living testament to God's love, grace, forgiveness and fruition of promises.
It would be mommy's greatest wish for each and every one of you to build your relationship with God. To Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. See her struggles and passing as God's promises fulfilled. God has granted her overwhelming love. Look around. You are all an expression and proof of that love she has in her life. God granted her blessings and wealth. The kind that no one can buy. God granted her eternal life in His kingdom with our family. He has prepared a mansion for her with our loved ones.
