

Randy was my best Friend in high school, we did everything together. Lost contact with Him when I went in Service.
Randy is up there re wiring Heaven.

Mike and Cindy:  Just ran into Randy's notice on dignitymemorial.com.  I didn't know.  So sorry.  I remember how your dad would call him "Hot Rod" and made him take apart that '28 roadster he got from your granddad and paint it with rustoleum before he would allow him to drive it (except on your lawn!).  Ran got his license on his 16th birthday, 1963, and we took it out on the road for the first time on the 4th of July and drove it all over Covina.  He also liked to wax that huge surfboard of his on your front lawn and drive around town with it but when we went to the beach we never did any actual surfing!  Ran's first job was with your family friends, the Whitlock's, and oddly enough years later I ran into one of the Whitlock boys up here in Cambria, where they had relocated (one of the girls later worked in the hardware store here , up until recently).  The last time I saw Ran was in the '80s when he paid me a visit in Lakewwod where I lived for many years.
