Chris Kerr, 89, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines. Chris was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place at Resthaven Mausoleum in West Des Moines.
Chris was born February 12, 1927 in Des Moines, IA to John and Dorothy (Sherman) Wicklund. She was office manager at Camp Fire in Des Moines. Chris enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Chris is survived by her son, Bob Kerr of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Sue (Don) Wasson of Ottumwa; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gretchen Wicklund and Dorothy Ann Hay; and daughter-in-law, Sheryl Kerr.
