David Arthur Huhn passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Thomas and Betty Huhn in Detroit, MI, on May 15, 1944, David's life was marked by love, laughter, and cherished moments shared with those he held dear. On August 13, 1988, he was united in marriage to Mary Jo Lenoch, a union blessed with seven children who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
David's spirit was evident in his many passions and pursuits. Whether tending to his garden or cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Detroit Red Wings, where he delighted in texting his children the score, he found contentment in the everyday moments. His culinary creations, from homemade cinnamon rolls to decadent carrot cake, were a testament to his love for his family.
Above all else, David cherished his role as husband and father. His face would light up as his children rushed to greet him at the door, their enthusiasm matching his own. His love will forever live on in the hearts of his wife, Mary Jo, and their seven children: David (Jenny), Daniel, Christopher (Minh), Nicholas (Stormi), Katie (Michael) Hockenberry, Molly, and Samuel and six grandchildren: Oliver, Rory, Ariella, Noah, Zion, and Kara.
