David N. Jolliffe, 78, passed away October 21, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. David will be cremated and a visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at McLaren’s Chapel. Burial with services will be at the Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery in Van Meter, IA.
David was born February 16, 1933 to Kingsley “Homer” and Flora “Flossie” Jolliffe in Eldorado, KS. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as an Independent Salesman for American Republic.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Jolliffe, daughters, Deb Andreano and Kim Jolliffe of Des Moines, IA; son, Bryan (Donna) Jolliffe of Norwalk, IA; step daughters, Kelly (Jimmy) Wilson of Waukee, IA; Kim (Rick) Rockhold of West Des Moines, IA; Kris (Justin) Lancaster of Norwalk, IA; six grandchlildren, Wesley (Stacey) Jolliffe, Charles (Emily) Layne, Ashley Jensen, Austin Lancaster, Devin Lancaster, Lucas Rockhold, three great grandchildren, Andrew Speck, Maura Speck, Kaden Layne, brother, Dick (Julie) Jolliffe of San Diego, CA; and several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
