Dr. Hart was a godsend to me. I am 43 years old now and I have had several surgeries over lifetime by other doctors claiming to be able to fix my ear. Finally I was referred to Dr. Hart. He performed surgery on my ear last May. I have had vertigo n infections, pain, headaches and other issues my entire life. Then Dr. Hart fixed me. He called me everyday personally to check on me for a week and half afterwards. He followed up with me every couple months. I enjoyed our conversations when I came into office. He loved to talk about his children, he was so proud of each of them. He would hum to the music he played over the intercom. I told him I was taking harp lessons and we connected on our love for music.
I will miss him greatly. the joy of hearing again and not having pain, infections and any complications whatsoever, I am truely thankful. I will.miss Mona as well. Her joyful smile everytime I came into office. I will miss seeing her sweet face as well. Much love to his family n close friends for their loss.

Mike and I rotated together through Clinicals in medical school at the UofI. Mike was older than the rest of us and was supposed to add a level of maturity. That didn't happen. We laughed a lot and had more fun than we should have. I just remember that wry sense of humor during a demanding part of our lives. Godspeed, old friend.

Please know the sadness in my heart to hear about Dr. Hart's passing. He is the only doctor who could help me with Meniere's Disease and his amazing, advanced surgical skills gave me back my life. He was very soft spoken and offered hope to his patients. I thank God all the time for Dr Hart and his compassion for his patients. He loved his children - he spoke of them and there was children's art work hanging in the office that was always fun to see. My heart goes out to his family, friends and his office staff. Dr. Hart earned his wings long before his passing - and he will be greatly missed.

i'm so sorry to learn of mike's passing. we were classmates at the old dowling h.s. where he was an accomplished athlete and student. we stayed in contact after h.s. mainly thru his cousin dick ludwig. one of my fondest memories of mike is that he took me to the old drake u. field house and taught me how to play racquetball. i eventually could keep up with him but, i could never beat him. my thoughts and prayers are with his family and closest of friends. he surely will be missed. sincerely, john s. chambers

I was a patient of Dr. Hart for over 20 years. He was so smart and caring! He did everything possible to determine the cause of my hearing loss and dizziness. He continued to monitor me and gave me medication for the dizziness. I will miss him very much!

Dr. Hart was by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. He has been my doctor for over 20 years and has always taken great care of me. I’m going to miss him very much. I recently had a surgery and when he went to notify my parents that things went well and I was in recovery he told them he wasn’t sure if he was supposed to have a favorite patient but I was his favorite patient. The Hart family is in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Hart was a very good kind hearted man and will be very missed.
