Eilene Claire (Jeffries) Barron-Duncan, 90, passed away February 25, 2018. A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines.

Eilene was born March 14, 1927, in Valley Junction, IA to Irene and Robert Jeffries. She was a beloved wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.

Eilene is survived by her daughter, Debbie Barron; three grandchildren, Kevin, Catie, and Beth; six great-grandchildren, Kourtney, Konner, Kyle, Evan, Ryan, and Charlie; sister, Lee Knowlton; and several nieces and nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Barron and Willis Duncan.

Eilene leaves her family and friends with wonderful memories of a life well lived.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
