My Beautiful Angel, 
What an amazing women. Someone who I admired. My Grandma. I was the luckiest girl ever to be able to grow up with my grandma in our home. That was my home, which is where my grandma allowed us to place our roots. I was able to share so many memories with you. I remember sitting in your room at night at the foot of the bed. I was able to talk to you about anything and everything. You never once passed judgement, you never once interrupted me, you never once said "Teresa, its getting late, time for bed." You sat there and listened to me. You made me feel like I was the most important person at that time. Later in life I had my first child. Tyler (now 14) you always looked forward to him coming to the house. He stayed with you and my parents a lot. You grandma were important to him. You taught him about Jesus, you would put your lotion on him, had him wear the rosary like a necklace and told him stories about Jesus. You even taught him to bow his head when he said Jesus' name. You made special memories for him. Later I had 2 more children Gabe and Katelyn, Gabe was known as little fella. Katelyn was a blur for you. But, that was ok. You always smiled and commented on how pretty she was. You had a heart of gold. I'm going to miss that. I'm going to miss your smile and laugh. As time went on you were happy to celebrate Christmas at home. You wanted to stay home. You always had plenty of gifts to opened and always looked forward to your stocking Santa left the night before. My favorite gift ever was spending the holidays with you. We had our family close together. I'm going to miss seeing you on Christmas. But your memories will live in me forever. I hope you know how much I love you, I hope you feel the love that we all have for you, I hope you have the same great memories that I do. I am so happy you get to be with grandpa again. I hope it's beautiful where you are. You are now my angel, watching over me and my family. Like I have ALWAYS told you, I will love you grandma always and forever!

Mom I don't know of another mother who was as devoted and loved her children as much you. Your whole life was about us kids. Now you are watching  over us and  can see how your love has molded each of us. I love you very much and will miss you even more. Especially on mothers day I will remember all the dinners we had together.

Aunt Betty was the best.  She always had time to talk to her nieces and nephews and offer some life advice when it was needed.  I've never known her to be down or mean-spirited, just happy, positive and always supportive.  She was loved very much by her siblings.  My mother always lit up when aunt Betty was around and when uncle Dick was present it was joke after joke and laugh after laugh.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

When we were growing up "Aunt Betty" was so much a part of our lives! She was always laughing and smiling and so full of energy. I'll always remember her that way. Please know that I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Much love from your cousin, Amy Egan Slutz.

My family (Petersen) grew up across the street from the Wells family. As Jim said on a recent visit "It was a good neighborhood to grow up in." I remember Betty as being very kind, sweet and a lot of fun to be around. All of her children have my deepest sympathy for their loss.
