Nancy, your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time.  I remember you telling me a few things about him, and after reading what you wrote, he seemed to be a very special man.  This site is a wonderful way to allow people who are not able to travel to Iowa to enjoy the memories of your father.  It seems like he teaches us all a lesson, grab hold of life with both hands, surrounding himself with all that he loved.  I look at the pictures you posted and it seems like I know him.  I will listen to stories from you, Allyson and Kelsey and know that he lives on in all of you.
