Gregory Wayne Binkley, 62, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his lake home in Warsaw, MO. Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Thursday at McLaren’s Chapel with entombment at Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Chapel.
Gregory was born July 14, 1953 in Creston, IA to Boyd and Beverly Binkley. He graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1972 where his core area of study was aviation. Gregory was a service manager for Associated Wholesale Grocers. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, spending time at the lake home on Lake of the Ozarks, working in the yard mowing and trimming trees, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
Gregory is survived by his wife of 43 years, De-Anna, who was his high school sweetheart and best friend since the eleventh grade; sons, Kevin of Colorado Springs, CO and Eric of Shawnee, KS; four grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Miles and Waylon Binkley; sisters-in-law, Dawn (Cliff) Hicks of Kentucky, Brigetta (David) McElvogue of Iowa and Cheryl Persons of Kentucky; and step-sister, Cindy Hoepker of Urbandale, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
